I was born and raised north of Boston in Beverly, MA. My husband and I met in college in Maine. We moved to California in 2009, were married in 2010 and returned to the Boston suburbs in 2013. Our daughter Quinn joined the family in 2015 and we relocated to Longmeadow just before her first birthday in October of 2016. Before becoming a stay at home mom I worked as a chemist for the Food and Drug Administration.
I discovered F4M Longmeadow when I saw the one year anniversary class advertised. I changed an appointment so we could attend and am so thankful that I did! I was immediately impressed with quality of the workout, the fun activities for my daughter and the warm, inviting, and knowledgeable group of moms. This is exactly what I had been looking for in our new area. I love that I get a great workout, Quinn has friends to play with after class, and we have a schedule to get us out of the house during the week. I am so excited to start as an instructor and look forward to getting to know you all better!
I am the lucky mom of three smart, creative, and very big hearted littles, Liam (10/2012), Ciara (5/2014), and Colleen (1/2017). They are full of energy and eager to make friends wherever we go. Being able to stay home and experience this exciting world with them is such a blessing.
I’m not sure who loves class more, my son Carter (born July 2014) or myself! Being a full time teacher, and full time mommy, Stroller Strides has been the perfect solution to my need for exercise and my son’s need for socialization. We found FIT4MOM last summer through the “Summer Teacher Special” and have been hooked ever since! Four months after my first class, I went to training to become a certified instructor so we could continue to have FIT4MOM in our lives, and we have loved the experience ever since!
After growing up in the “Cozy Corner” of Connecticut, I found my calling as a teacher and fell in love with my husband while attending Springfield College. After graduation, we both settled down together in Springfield where we currently reside. My husband, Denny, often provides inspiration many of the fun games you will play in my class as he is an elementary P.E. teacher who shares my love for having fun while being active!
FIT4MOM is so much more than a great place to get in a fun, but effective workout, it is a motherhood of some of the most amazing mamas I’ve ever met. Being a parent is hard in a today’s world where it feels like there is constant judgement. I am so appreciative to have found a group of women who are so grounded and open-minded. If I need advice, I know exactly where to go!
